Overview

There are many separate functions in IMINDI (like search, Mind Mapping, or writing), but keep in mind the overarching goal of creating knowledge. To do this there is a natural and reciprocal flow of effort between thinking, exploring and connecting. All three are important to build your personal network.

But let's break this down into a typical way to start using IMINDI. Here are the key steps in using IMINDI:

1) Set up a Think Tank
2) Invite Like Minds (or not)
3) Create a Mind Map Discussion
4) Add Resources to that Discussion
5) Create a Note
6) Mark Up that Note based on the Discussion
7) Save/Post to Blog
8) Get connected with other Like Minded people through IMINDI's recommendation engine and search
9) Merge Discussions/Join other Think Tanks, etc

IMINDI is best used as an integrated process. In isolation each step can seem a little stark or empty. But together, each activity supports the other, and it begins to make sense. You are sharing ideas, and seeing possibilities. You are building a mind scaffold.
