Notes are an online word processor where you can produce supporting documents or blogs with key words that are marked up with hyperlinks back to your Discussions on IMINDI. This is a way of adding more detail or expanding on the basic thought structure of your Discussion. You can copy and paste any text into the Notes editor, or type directly, and change the formatting to suit you.

When you are finished writing, simply select the existing Discussions you would like to mark up with hyperlinks and press "Markup". You will see all of the thought terms from the selected Discussion(s) become blue hyperlinks to that Discussion in the text field. Then press "Save" to save your note.

Imindi will also be searching your Notes and resources automatically in the background, and adding keywords it finds based on a known ontology to your Think Tank. These keywords will then be available in the Thought Guide for you to use in building your Discussion.

If you have specified a blog address in your settings, you can publish your note directly to that blog automatically by clicking on the "Post to Blog" button at the bottom of the Note page. The hyperlinks will remain embedded and functional in your blog, and bring your readers back to the Mind Maps you have created about your topic.

You can access your other saved notes at the bottom of any note page, where you can then make the following changes: Show, Make Public/Private, Edit, and Delete.
